I do not lock addresses until I can see the whites of fulfillment's eyes. So don't worry if you have relocation looming over you (LIKE I DO OMGOMG), we can change right up to the end.
There is no rush sorting something out that looks awry. Just reach out, and we'll get it sorted, easy-peasy.
April 15th, Cooperative Play Will Be Unveiled
Enoch Sneyd is waiting to give you a tour...
(No, there is no horror, I just love this gloomy Victorian estate created by the brilliant Janek Lipinski.)

Pledge Manager Closing 4/1

Your Designer Is Not the Sharpest Tool in the Shed
This you knew. Picking Easter as a day to close the Pledge Manager might not have been the best idea given that I will be nowhere near Kickstarter on Sunday to field any panicked inquiries. Of course, moving it one day to April Fool's day is fertile ground for mischief, but I need to get real data to my fulfillment partners, so I will risk your spoof emails.
In case you need a Pledge Manager primer, go here (warning: snake).
Thanks!

The Variant Catalogue and Pledge Manager Closes in 2 Weeks

A Variant Cat-alogue
Variant Catalogue
The Variant Catalogue is 97% finished, and you can see it here (click cover image):
As usual, let me know if you see anything awry; final word-by-word proofreading will happen after seeing the PPC (pre-production copy) of the Characters expansion (due in a few weeks). Yes, we are on schedule!
PM Closes at Midnight on March 31, 2024
The pledge manager is looking good. Removing the $1 pledges that do not have their survey filled out, I have only 75 backers I am hunting like that cable TV bounty hunter dude. So we will close at the end of March 31st, which also closes the pre-order store. At that time, your credit card will be charged.
I travel again out to Utah this week for 6 days (yes, part of my endless move from Ohio to Utah), so I will be difficult to contact during that time. Anyone who has a PM question or needs me, my response time will be slow.
BoardGameGeek Rating
Every once in a while I like to remind all of you who haven't rated Obsession on BGG, to please do so. Still a one man company here! The only way a company with an oaf as its only employee survives out in the deep ocean of game publishing is by word of mouth. So if you haven't rated the game, I oafishly ask you to consider it!
Thank you!

Production and Pledge Manager Updates
– Fri, Feb 23, 2024 at 01:22:33 PM
I apologize I haven't been posting much, but I am moving from Ohio to Utah, and so my schedule is not as calm as this gorgeous Maine Coon, who even you dog radicals will acknowledge is magnificently regal.
Production Update
I submitted my Characters files for the pre-production copy (PPC) just before Chinese New Year. No, I am not now going to use the CNY as an excuse for the project being late, droughts, locusts, aliens, or anything else. The submission immediately before CNY was planned and means I should be able to go to production in April, which tells us the project is on track! (Note: Being on track is excellent, but no guarantee that there won't pandemics, ocean pirates, wars, etc.).
Here is a download for the 99% final rulebook (the PPC will undoubtedly result in small changes, and I am also absolutely certain the perceptive eyes of this group will find something).
Better news for these babies!
That packaged set in the middle is my POST PRODUCTION COPY. Panda was great in squeezing this project in prior to CNY.
Not only are the coins beautiful, but I worked with Panda to reduce packaging significantly (the original packaging had the center packaged set inside another super-thick plastic bag with a wider hanging tab). Lean, mean, and as heavy as a shot put.
To answer your question, no you can't have them early.
Variant Catalogue: In the next two weeks or so, I will post an update with the Variant Catalogue.
Pledge Manager Getting Better!
There has been good progress. While there are still 217 backers who have not filled out their surveys, 104 are $1 surveys, which eases my mind a bit. Some percentage of those 217 have been waiting to finalize group pledges. As a result, I am closing the pledge manager on March 31st, at which time you will be charged shipping and VAT.
.
Gotcha!
.
My humour gives me the opportunity to remind everyone you are not paying VAT (I am), not because I want credit, but because a surprisingly large number of people had no idea about the VAT plan, and I was getting emails about it.
As for those waiting, I would ask the Group Pledge people to start wrapping it up and get in touch with me to finalize shipping. For the remaining few who haven't filled out your pledge manager, HERE is your comprehensive PM update (warning: Snake Picture).
Co-Op
This is rounding into shape nicely, but I am still a month from letting you peak behind the curtain. The PPC Co-Op rulebook is largely blank because I am fine-tuning right up to the deadline. More to come.
Thanks!

Pledge Manager Update - Not Closing until March 31 (also, a Pony)

A proper Pony & Trap would be a Pony, Kitten & Trap.
Pledge Manager Now Closing March 31 (I Think)
I am leaving the Pledge Manager (PM) open until at least March 31. The new reality of these masked email addresses is that people don't know they are missing emails and Updates reminding them to complete the PM. So, I have to wait until the light bulb goes off and a backer thinks, "So much for Hallagan being a good communicator. I haven't gotten squat from that dude!" Then we connect and fix the problem. The only solution is patience for now. No real harm in waiting.
If you need details, HERE is your comprehensive PM update.
Pony & Trap
And here is the final Pony & Trap, courtesy of Tony Boydell, our guest designer (and creator of Snowdonia).
Variant Catalogue
I will have the Variant Catalogue near-final draft in about 10 days.
